The Problem

Walk-around vibration routes sample your motors once a month — if you're lucky. Faults develop between visits and go undetected until they become expensive failures. Meanwhile, externally mounted sensors sit on the housing, separated from the bearing by material and geometry that attenuate the earliest fault signatures.
